There are two contradicting myths relating to search engine submissions

Myth #1 says that submitting your URLs to every search engine known to the human race will bring in free, targeted traffic to your site. Myth #2 is the opposite and says that submission does not work at all.

Surprisingly, both statements are, to some extent, true. The major search engines do find and index your site by themselves. However, if you submit your pages following their rules, you will get your site crawled more deeply. It means more of your Web pages will be visible to the public

You will find a lot of companies on the web who will charge you for submitting your site to search engines when they have a computer programme that can do it in 2 minutes.

At Welshop Internet marketing we believe that the charges should reflect the amount of work and expertise required to achieve the required goal.

So we do not offer a "search engine submission service" as such but rather incorporate this service into the job as required.

Also you need to be aware that althought it is possible to automatically submit a site to search engines using a computer programme this is not possible for some minor, some regional search engines and all directories as they prefer that you submit your site and its pages manually. Consequently we do charge a fee for Directory submissions.
